A report says Vancouver’s Gifford Pinchot National Forest takes good care of its Indian Heaven, Mount Adams and Trapper Creek wilderness areas.
Now, if the forest only had a few more to manage . . .

Winter biking on Horse Ridge: Being graced with an exceedingly mellow disposition, Map Guy doesn’t excite easily. But show him a map, especially one with lots of detail, and he lights up like it’s prom night and his date is the prettiest girl in school.
